Patricia Barganier

Patricia Barganier, former Partner and National Director of Unclaimed Funds at Ernst & Young LLP, founded Barganier & Associates in 2004 to bring a broad range of solutions and services to the unclaimed funds area. With a total of 28 years of business experience, with increasing levels of leadership responsibility, Patricia worked for 10 years in the public accounting/consulting environment focused solely on unclaimed property and advising clients within a broad range of industries across the United States. Subject matter expertise includes not only long term respectful relationships with state administrators and best practice corporate compliance but also proprietary data analytics that not only legally diminish and resolve the amount of unclaimed property but also predict future reporting for resolution on an annual basis. Having worked in industry and in consulting, Patricia provides an in depth practical approach to operational solutions with a goal of meeting or exceeding ROI for Barganier clients.

As quoted in USA Today, Business Week, and Tax Analysts, Tricia is a frequent speaker on unclaimed property before state legislatures committees and professional organization. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelors of Accounting and a Masters of Taxation and a long standing member of UPPO (Unclaimed Property Professional Organization) and the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST). Barganier and Associates passed national certification as a Woman’s Business Enterprise beginning in 2006.
